Moloto Communal Property Association (CPA) was established through the Communal Property Association Act, Act 28 of 1996. Moloto CPA was formed as part of post apartheid land restitution measures to restore ancestral lands to communities dispossessed under apartheid. The members and beneficiaries of Moloto CPA are referred to as the Moloto Community on the constitution of Moloto CPA. Moloto Community through Restitution of Land Right Act, Act 22 of 1994 claimed the farms Jakkalsdans 234 JR, Hartebeestspruit 235 JR, Sybrandskraal 244 JR as well as Prins Anna 234 JR.

The community mobilised to file claims and, after a lengthy legal and administrative process, received formal recognition of their land rights. Moloto CPA land claim is still in process and the transferred properties thus far are some of the portions of the farms Jakkalsdans 234 JR and Hartebeestspruit 235 JR. The land we own is within Gauteng Province. The locality maps are attached for ease reference.
